New EP and VIDEO released in October (3 settembre 2011)
VIOLET LINE, Jesus Was Homeless’ new EP will be officially released by O.B.E. Records on Monday 31st of October, 2011. The EP contains the rocking title track plus three more songs taken from the forthcoming album “The Message”: Our Eyes, The Ride and Let’s Go. The Violet Line EP will be available as digital download from all the major digital distributors and the video shot by Jesus Was Homeless to accompany the single will be available on the band YouTube channel.

Starting on February 12th "Melting" will be featured as opening titles music for the show "Social King" for Italian National Network RAI2.

On February 27th JWH will be back on stage at Goa club – Via Libetta 13, Rome – for an exclusive show during the club weekly After-Tea appointment. Doors open at 7pm. In the next months the band will also perform live at Alien and Alpheus in Rome and then back in London.! Hello people, we're happy to announce that "Self Control" will be officially released in the UK on December 6th!
With the occasion JWH will have two release parties in London during their gigs at Dublin Castle on December 13th and Water Rats on December 16th.

While working on their new album, on June 18, Jesus Was Homeless will be back in Milan for an exclusive gig at Rock'n'Roll.
After a season that saw the band among the most interesting italian newcomers, the band will return in Lombardia to play their new material and a selections of the tracks of "The Landing".

Among the most interesting newcomers of 2009, JWH are back on January 27 in Rome to introduce the band latest single and video, their cover version of "Self Control", which will be on air and on TV starting on February 5.
The video has been shot in Los Angeles in October, when the band was taking part to Hit Week Festival. Produced by OBE Records and IncredibleMachine, the video has been directed by Adam Mason, who has a long pedigree as music video director having penned some of the best visuals by Within Temptation, Oceansize and Cradle Of Filth.
After the premiere the band will also perform a very special concert with all their songs rearranged for the occasion. After the gig Subbacultcha DJ Set with DJ Skalibur and DJ 51.

After the release of their debut album “The Landing” just a few month behind them,a single on rotation on national radio networks and the attention of the specialized press, Jesus Was Homeless have been invited to play in Los Angeles during HIT WEEK 2009. "We were already very satisfied of what we've got so far” says guitar player Marko “but this has been a really pleasant surprise.. to be selected together with 13 great artists to represent Italian music in the US is totally exciting! And in what a company: Africa Unite, Battiato, Afterhours, Allevi, Negrita, Le Vibrazioni, Linea 77… the best of the Italian scene will be on stage for Hit Week and we'll be there too! After the appreciation shown by music critics and public alike, here's the much awaited official recognition of the great work the band has made in its relative short lifespan, with a Los Angeles performance coinciding with JWH shooting a video for their forthcoming single in the LA area.
“We won't let the chance pass us by” says Tiziano, JWH leader and frontman “so beside the gig and the business meetings, we'll shoot the video in oder to have in circulation by November”. Chosen venue of the gig is one of LA's best location: The Music Box at Fonda Theatre, which together with the Broad Stage, the Purple Lounge, the Gibson showroom, the Italian Institute of Culture and the South California University will held several events for the duration of the festival.

Il 13 giugno al Circolo degli Artisti arrivano live i Jesus Was Homeless, interessante formazione “capitanata” dal gia’ noto Tiziano Rizzuti (Ritual, Subbacultha, Mary Go ‘Round) per uno spettacolo di sano e puro alternative rock.
Dopo il successo in Asia e Giappone i Jesus Was Homeless presenteranno cosi’ anche al pubblico italiano “Melting” il singolo gia’ su RaiDue a Scalo76, in rotazione su Virgin Radio, All Music, Radio Rock, Rock Tv, e “The Landing”, l'album di debutto disponibile dall'8 giugno su iTunes.
Un album, caratterizzato dall’influenza evidente della tendenza multi-culturale statunitense e dalle particolari biografie dei componenti.
Il gruppo è infatti formato da Tiziano Rizzuti alla voce, proveniente dal progetto alternative-rock Mary Go ‘Round, Amorosi al basso, strumento che imbraccia anche nei Daemonia (ex Goblin), il chitarrista e programmer Maruko, cantante del progetto industrial-dance XP8 e il batterista Alessandro entrato recentemente nella band in pianta stabile. Tutti esponenti di realta’ musicali alternative molto apprezzate in Italia e all’estero.
Il concerto del 13 giugno sara’ cosi’ un’occasione per godersi interamente “The Landing”, prodotto dall’etichetta indipendente OBE Records, un vero e proprio incontro di storie, viaggi ed esperienze personali, con un taglio originale che ha gia’ destato interesse nel mercato estero.
Nel maggio 2008 infatti la Halftonic, il nuovo brand della storica etichetta Giapponese Marquee Records, ha pubblicato con successo l’album d’esordio per i mercati Nipponici e Asiatici che hanno accolto con entusiasmo il prodotto di un percorso compositivo che ha viaggiato tra Los Angeles, Roma, Londra.
L’appuntamento italiano con i Jesus Was Homeless e’ dunque per sabato 13 giugno al Circolo degli artisti, ad aprire la serata Seven Low Down.
Inizio concerti alle ore 21:00, ingresso gratuito fino alle 22:30 e di € 5,00 a seguire.
La periodica up date di maggio vede Melting, il singolo della band continuare a generare interesse negli addetti ai lavori, e dopo diversi passaggi su Virgin Web Radio, questo maggio ha finalmente raggiunto la programmazione di Virgin Radio FM.
La band è stata inoltre invitata in questi giorni a partecipare al programma Sala Prove trasmesso da Rock TV, che dopo aver inserito il video di Melting nel loro palinsesto, metterà ora in rotazione un'estratto della performance totalmente dal vivo che i JWH hanno dato presso il rinomato Jungle Sound studio di Milano.
Oltre all'interesse tangibile degli addetti ai lavori però, i Jesus Was Homeless come ogni rock band che si rispetti incontra anche quello del pubblico “live” ed il prossimo 13 Maggio si esibiranno in concerto sullo storico palco del Piper di Roma all'interno della rassegna patrocinata dal Comune di Roma “METROPOLIS”, che vedrà esibirsi anche i Velvet, The Niro, Le Mani e gli Yuppie Flu.
